Anthony Massarotto is a New York City based stage and screen actor who hails from Charleston, South Carolina. He has performed all around the Charleston area, including the iconic Dock Street Theatre. Being a transplant to NYC, he values the kindness, humility, respect and work ethic he learned from the South, and the hustle, thick skin, and the importance of a dollar slice of pizza from his time in NYC.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in both Music and Theatre from The College of Charleston where he was able to perform in numerous performing arts genres: plays, musicals, dance concerts, and operas. After moving to NYC, he continued his training with The Barrow Group in their Apprentice Program studying under the incredible Seth Barrish and Lee Brock. With the belief that to be a better actor, understanding the world, other cultures, and people is of utmost importance, he has had the fortune to travel the world with Azamara Cruises for several contracts. With this experience, he has stretched and grown, not only as a person, but as a performer as well getting to sing everything from Rock & Roll, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, and more. Anthony has also had the opportunity to perform in some incredible shows Off-Broadway, on tour, and regionally. Keep an eye out, you never know where you might see him next! |
